Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

My son was dating this girl. He just turned 18 and she is 15. He turned 18 four weeks ago she will be 16 in october. She is also 13 weeks pregnant by him. Every time he tries to ask about talking to her she wont discuss anything and now her mother has threatened to have him put in jail for statuatory rape. Can she do so? He was 17 when she got pregnant they arent together now.

The mother has no authority "go have him put in jail." She can take her daughter to make a police report. If the DA decides to file a case, it would be filed in juvenile court. In a case like this, it would be very rare for the juvenile "defendant" to be placed in custody.
