Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
my son in law had a warrant from a traffic ticket . and the officers broke into there house and arrested him and also searched there house with out a search warrant and theofficers said they didnt have to have one. my son in law was also asleep at the time is this legal please write me back

The law allows the police to enter the home of a home owner without a warrant if they have a warrant for his arrest. The law also allows a limited search for weapons while arresting the occupant. Typically, this search is limited to the room the person was arrested in.
