Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
subject
When i was 12 or 13 i was charged with shoplifting. I plead not guilty in front of the judge. He said that the case was dismissed. The record would be wiped off if I don't commit anymore illegal acts before I turn 18, and I haven't since. Recently, I was offered an internship at Northwestern Mutual Financial Networks and their contract asked me to fill out a criminal disclosure form even if the record has been ''expunged.'' Do i need to tell the company about this small juvenile case?
Thanks

Re: subject
No, you do not. Your juvenile record is "sealed" and you have no duty to disclose your youthful indescretion. Anything of an adult nature needs to be disclosed
