Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
I want to know if I can sue my x husband for burning my home, he is in prison now for that crime and our divorce was not fiale when he done the crime, he had only been out of prison then 3 monthss, the home was mine before i met and married him while he was in prison before. He was on parole when he done this, i have no insurance and the devorce papers he signed prior to him setting the fire (everything mine was to be mine,,home cars and money,,ect. can i sue him for all I was out, thank you , debbie

You absolutely can. The real question is if you sue him and win, would you be able to recover any money from him? Is he what is referred to as "judgement proof"?
