suggestion by public defender
why would a public defender suggest to a mother of incarsorated inmate, to ''post bond''and remove him from the state.?

Not sure. Failure to appear at any hearing requiring the defendant to be present would result in a bench warrant being issues. Also, if a defendant posts bond, generally the court requires hiring of a private attorney.
