Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

what should i do if i have a warrant for my arrest?

My mom called me and said the police are looking for me. They have a warrent for my arrest. She said it was issued because I failed to appear in court. I never knew I was supposed to go to court. How do I find more information over this? What should I do about the current warrant? I live in a different state than the warrant was issued for and really have no transportation to go to the state the warrant was issued?

That depends on what kind of warrant it is, as to how you should handle the case. However, you can contact a bondsman in the area where the warrant was issued or the clerk of the court and they will tell you how much the bond is, and tell you more about the case. Then contact an attorney in that area about what to do with the case.
