Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
If a warrant is issued with a bond of 2500 but there has not been an arrest, would it be better to get an attorney before an arrest is made and have them try to get the bond lowered or OR'd so there is no jail time?

It really depends on the County. Since you didnt provide a zip code, I am unable to tell which county you are referring to. Give me a call if your question concerns Oklahoma, Cleveland, McClain, Pott, or Garvin Counties, and I'll be able to give you a specific breakdown of your chances in each county. (405) 501-0827.
