My husband got a DUI 2 wks ago, it was his first offense. What can we expect when we go to court?

You will need to hire an attorney. A first offense DUI carries up to one year in jail plus fines/costs. In addition, he will have his D.L. revoked for 180 days on a first offense. He will qualify for a modified license most likely. If he had his license revoked for an alcohol related offense within the last five years, he will lose his license for one year, which cannot be modified.
