A first time DUI will be filed as a Misdemeanor (unless you blew .15 or over). Without any priors you will looking at a deferred sentence. You will need to hire an attorney so that they can help you keep your probation as short as possible. You will also need to fight DPS to keep your license. You automatically lose your license for 6 mo on your first DUI. So contact an attorney ASAP.
I do not fully understand the question. You say you got a DUI and then go on to ask what the pending charges will be? I guess the "pending" charges will be DUI. From the information you gave here, only you know what other charges there may be. If you had an open container when stopped, you will also be charged with transporting an open container. If you had marijuana in your pocket when you went to jail, you will also be charged with possession of marijuana.
Your punishment will depend on whether it the DUI is filed in city or county court and what city or county it happened in. Generally, you are looking at a year of probation with some work hours and fines and costs to pay.
You are also looking at losing your driver's license. You only have a couple of days after your arrest to try and keep your license from beings suspended. So you must ask quickly in hiring an attorney and getting him to request a hearing or a modified license.
