Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma
16 yr old in trouble
I know a 16 yr old girl who is pregnant and trying to get away from an abusive father. He has gone to the police and put her on probation, she is not allowed to leave the house at any time other than school. I was told that once a girl turns 16 and gets pregnant she can leave but this probation thing has me worried that we may all go to jail if I go get her. I will be speaking to the probation officer but I don't think he will be very helpful. So my question is this, can I get her out and how?

I am not sure what rights you believe that you have to second guess the decisions of the father as to what is best for his minor daughter. If there is true abuse going on you should report it to the juvenile authorities.
