What do I need to do to adopt a child from a friend who is pregnant and willing to sign over parental right upon the birth of the child?

The statutory guidelines are very strict in Oklahoma. The mother of the child must have her own lawyer and you must have your own. The statutes are strictly enforced. So, go through an adoption attorney. This matter cannot be done on Law Guru.
