Re: age requirements for moving out
At 18 a person is considered to be able to contract for their own needs, which means that at 18 you can be responsible for paying for your groceries, apartment rent, telephone, gas and electric bills;payments on an automobile, the gas, oil and insurance for the automobile;cell phone, clothes, do your own laundry wherever you want;watch TV all day if you can afford one and generally not have to answer to anybody except to pay for all of the above yourself. Your parents or guardian can spend all the money they will be saving on a nice vacation, a newer car or on someone who might appreciate their contribution.
