can i collect alimony from a verified source of mariage that is common law?

To collect alimony you must be divorced by a court. In order to be divorced you must first be married. For common law marriages, you must prove that your relationship met the statutory definition of common law marriage. You need to hire a lawyer to review the facts, the statute and the evidence.
