my son's live in partner is getting ready to move out of the family home with his child and one that is on the way. she also has a 2 yr. old by someone else. my son needs to find someone fast to talk to about this problem. he wants custody of his child and the one thats on the way. he lives in enid ok. is legal aid the way to go since he's strapped for money at the moment or should he just go find a lawyer and discuss the matter? he needs to get this taken care of quickly so if you can tell me where to go or who to see i would greatly appreciate it. thanks!

If the couple is not married (legal or common law), he will need to file a Petition for Paternity requesting the court to decide custody, visitation and child support matters and enter certain temporary orders during the pendency of the action. Hiring an Enid attorney makes more sense from an economic standpoint.
