Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma
Child Custody/Visitation
I have a friend who has not seen her 6 year old son in 2 months. Because his father refuses to let her see him. Her past is not so good but, she is doing well now. The visitation requires a supervisor. However, she doesn't wish to use this person. She has found a new person and has offer to take drug test and background check on both her and the new person. His father still refuses, she is in trasitional housing waiting for section 8 and is on state assistance. She cannot afford a lawyer, her pro bono lawyer I feel isn't doing the right thing. She's telling her to wait until feb. Is there not some emergency order my friend can do to see her son sooner than feb.?

Re: Child Custody/Visitation
I don't think your friend has solid ground to stand on. You've stated no grounds to declare the current supervisor inadequate or unfit; only that your friend "doesn't wish to use this person." I'd suggest following the advise of the attorney now on the case.
