Thank you for your question. If the parents have been appointed guardians through a court proceeding, the court can remove the guardians and terminate the guardianship, placing the child back with the parent if the reason for the guardianship no longer exists. If the guardianship is court ordered, you may not simply declare the guardianship ended.
