Child support

My son is now 18 yrs old. In the State of Oklahoma, Is there a deadline to file a claim for back child support?

Thanks for your question. I would say that your son has one year after he becomes 18 to file for child support legally due and owing on his 18th birthday. He might have longer under certain situtations or legal theories which have not been legally tested. I would not recommend waiting and testing them.
