Children custody issue

When you are a divorced mother of 2 minor children is it frowned upon to go to an event with your children and a male friend and spend the night at a motel in seperate rooms or stay in seperate houses. (Me and my kids in one room or house and him in another) I dont want to do anything my ex could try and use against me!

If the non-custodial parent is seeking custody, be sure that anything may end up being thrown in your face. If the divorce is final attending an event with a male friend shouldn't be problematic. I would really think twice about the motel arrangements. It is one of those things which may get twisted and come back to haunt you. Good Luck.
