Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

getting a copy of.......

2 years ago,my Wife and I paid for her neice's divorce, since she did not have the money for it. According to the settlement in her divorce, her ex-husband was suppose to pay for half of the divorce. So far,he has not paid a dime towards it;they are also back together. Her neice refuses to call the divorce lawyer and request a copy of her divorce be sent to us(again,we paid for it) and I believe she knows that we will sue him(her ex-husband) for the money or have him thrown in jail. What can we do to get a copy of her divoce decree??

If you can navigate through the court system in the county in which the decree was filed, you might find a copy there, presuming it was not made subjet to nondisclosure. Otherwise you might try to file suit against the husband for recovery of the amount paid, and in the suit make a request for production of the decree.
