court order reduces fees to judgement
my divorce decree requires that i pay a portion of my ex-wifes attorney fees and the court ordered the sum reduced to judgement and to be paid within thirty days. what is likely to happen if i don't pay within the specified time and will it affect my credit?

Re: court order reduces fees to judgement
Thank you for your question. You could be cited for contempt of court if you fail to pay and if found guilty put in jail until it gets paid. Any judgment can find its way into a credit report. How it might affect you credit will depend on the tests applied by the persons from whom you seek credit.
