Deprived child

My child has been out of my home for 2 months due to deprivement. He and my boyfriend got into it and they hit one another. He wanted to go to a friends house, police said home or shelter. He chose Dhs shelter,I have been unable to see him or talk with him,no one at DHS will talk with me or notify me about him. He is being check out of the shelter at DHS by people I do not approve of and I do believe the man has a record. I need help in knowing how can I get my son back and how can I stop these people from getting my son when no one in My family can get him. I have been appointed an attoney but he does not want to see me but on the day of court. Dhs did not ever contact me I did all the work to find my son. Dhs as been not help at all they did not investigate, I have 3 more sons at home? and no one has ever talked to them, if I am such a bad parent and can not provide a safe enviroment why are my other children at home. Help me please.

Re: Deprived child

Because the court has appointed you a lawyer, it would be against ethics for any other attorney to discuss your case with you. I would suggest that you work with your court appointed lawyer. You have done some work on your own please make that information available to your lawyer. Good Luck
