Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

division of property

I own property that I have bought from my mother. It is listed in my name only on the deed. In a divorce do I have to halve this property or is it legal to obtain a notorized paper where the spouse signs over his half to me before I divorce the person?

I want everything I bought and he can have everything he has bought the home can be split equally.

If the home was purchased and paid for with money earned prior to marriage, it probably would be separate property. If you bought the home with moneys earned during the marriage, it is likely a marital asset.
