Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma
I had a dna test in a county in the state (kansas) in which i live which proved me not to be the father of the child in question. apparantly in the process of having this done the woman moved to another state(oklahoma) and applied for welfare there. I did not receive any papers until this summer stating that i owe back child support there so i contact the dhs services there and went to court there in which i found out that i was deemed the father due to missing a court date (that I didnt know about) and was told that i needed an attorney to submit a motion to reverse the courts previous ruling.. Is this legal and do i need to get an attorney to appear with me at the next court date
