Filing documents to modify decree of child support

In 2005 my ex husband was ordered to pay child support but has only made two payments. I attempted to file a small claims suit but was told that I had to file through family services and that I could complete the paperwork myself. I was not given any direction on the process but would like to file myself and to represent myself in court. Is this possible and if so what is the process?

Rule 1.2 of the Oklahoma Rules of Professional Responsibility allows attorneys to limit the scope of their representation. It is possible to have an attorney only draft paper work for you. The proper paper work would be contempt proceeding for failing to comply with the judge's order. You can also go through DHS and try to collect through an administrative process. You should contact an attorney to discuss the unique facts of your case.
