Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

Firing your attorney

I want to fire my attorney and file a ''Motion to Extend the time to Amend the Judges Findings'' so that a new attorney can review the case.

Can someone fire their attorney and file a ''Motion to Extend...'' by themselves?

How does a judge usually respond to this type of Motion?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Firing your attorney

I would suggest you may contact the court clerk and ask about the process and procedure. I don't know why you seek to fire your attorney, and it may be justified, but I would suggest before doing so you thoroughly understand his/her reasoning for their actions.
