Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma
I have two grandchildren. Their father is deceased. Their mother, who is my daughter, is wanting to give temporary custody to us. The grandchildren both receive social security(survivor benefits). What do we need to do?

You can temporary custody of those children. Why is your daughter wanting to give you temporary custody? Her reasons would be the determinative criteria.
Guardianship over Social security funds are determined solely by Social Security Administration and not by the courts. You will have to make application to the SSA.
