Grandparent or Sibling rights
My brother is married and they have one child. This child is being kept from any visitation with my brother's side of the family. It is against my brothers will, but he is not at a point that he wants to end the marriage over it. What options do I have as an aunt to this child, or are there any grandparents rights?

There is no statutory basis for aunt or uncle visitation in Oklahoma. There is however, a statutory right for grandparental visitation but as long as there is an intact, nuclear family, that objects to grandparental visitation, the State cannot intervene in the family and order the parents to consent to grandparental visitation absent a showing of significant harm to the child.
If there is significant harm to the child, the appropriate measure is to involve DHS and request custody of the child rather than visitation.
The only remedy you have in this instance is if the father takes measures to facilitate visitation between his child and his family.
