guardianship
how does my brother get guardianship of my nephew, he has the parents permission to stay with him and has already moved with him to Oklahoma . what do the parents need to do,he's trying to get him in school there. thank you

He needs to file a court case to obtain the guardianship. In CA, the procedure is basically you file a petition for guardianship, you get the parents' consent, the court appoints an investigator to report to the court that the guardianship is necessary and appropriate, and the court grants the orders.
