Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

judge made order but defendents attorney has not signed off on it

Judge ordered wage assignment. My attorney shall submit journal enty of these proceedings and income assignment to the Court showing approval as to form by his Attorney on or befor November 16th, 2006. I still am not gettting this back child support. Can the other attorney really do this and how long can he put off signing this or is my attorney just filling me full of bull. I thought since the judge said Nov. 16th then that would be the dead line for this to all be finished up with. Please help. This is the sixth court order to pay, my children are grown, thank God I didnt rely on this money to care for my children.

Your attorney should file a Motion to Settle Journal Entry and set the matter for hearing. It may take a few weeks to set a hearing, but the Order should be entered at the hearing.
