Can my ex-husband obtain a copy of my daughter's SSN card and birth certificate without my consent, he doesn't have one and I don't trust him, so I won't give him one and now his aunt has called and wants a copy of my daughter's birth announcement from the hospital to put in a family tree book, my ex-husband lives with her, if I send her a copy of these will my ex-husband be able to obtain the SSN card and copy of birth certificate with that? Do I have a legal right to refuse to give him the copies?

Your ex may be able to get the information for a variety of lawful purposes, for example, tax deduction. Much depends on the specific facts of the situation, the divorce decree, custody, etc.
