i need to modify

I cant afford to pay for my ex wifes 2001 dodge pick up anymore. My ex wife filed contempt of court charges. The judge told me he could not modify the divorce decree, and if i didnt make the truck payments I was going to jail. I am current on child support, I got a family of my own and i cant afford truck payment and child support. I was off work from a broken leg for six months and got behind on every bill i have. My court date is january 29 2003.

Being off work for 6 months without any income should be a defense to the contempt action. You need to retain an attorney to help you with the defense.
