Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma
Parental rights
My dad signed his parental rights over to my mom when i was 13. Can he get them back. We are very close now and i want him to get his rights back, even though i am 28. Is this possible, and if so what do i need to do?

Re: Parental rights
As a practical matter, with you at age 28, there isn't much in the way of "rights" he could regain. My question to you would be, what exactly do you want him to be able to do that he can't now do because of his signing away such rights? In fact, if I'm not mistaken, I believe Oklahoma law provides that inheritance from him to you remains in place, even after he has terminated parental rights.
