Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

paternity test

Can I still get a DNA paternity test done after another man (whom I dont believe to be the father) has signed a decree of paternity? Is there a time limit or statute of limitations? If I can still get a paternity test done what do I need to do to get the ball rolling?

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Very Respectfully,

Re: paternity test

If the case is pending in SC, then you may be able to intervene to try to assert your parental rights -- assuming that you have not yet had the opportunity to do so. If the case is pending in OK, you need to consult with an attorney out there to find out what options are available to you.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
