Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma
Can a person who hasn't gone to court yet, who has had an agreed upon custody plan in place for a year, upon receiving court papers, decide that the father can't see the child, but owes the same money? What are the man's options?

Assuming that the agreed custody plan has been signed by a judge and assuming the plan allows for visitation by the father the man can take the mother to court on a Motion to Enforce visitation. On the other hand, if the order is verbal or hasn't been signed by a judge or does not give specific visitation times to the father, the father should take steps to go to court to secure such a plan. Many people believe that child support and visitatiion run hand in hand, but they are different issues. I would contact an local attorney and see how they can help you. Good Luck Bob
