Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

Property Refinance

My ex was court order to refinance our home by Jan 06 and remove my name, as of to date he has not done so. There is $40K equity in the house, can I hold him in contempt for 1/2 the equity since he failed to hold to the court ordered requirement?

Re: Property Refinance

Absolutely! As a general rule, whenever a person fails to obey a court order they are setting themselves up for a contempt citation. I would suggest you move on this matter as soon as possible.
