Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma
recovering back child support
How do they recover 11 years of back child support, along with ongoing support that now also needs to be modified due to increase of non-custodial parents' salary and if a granparent (non-custodial) gives money or gifts to the children or custodial parent, could this be applied toward child support (now or then) not recieved from non-custodial parent ?

Re: recovering back child support
Generally, you would hire an attorney to pursue collection of the back child support. The attorney works on a hourly basis or contingency fee (he gets part of what is recovered). If you want, you can email me directly at the email provided below if you have further questions.
