Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

rights of putative father

Had a child out of wedlock. Bio. father has not seen her in 9.5 years--NO contact. He left state;I remarried-can I move out of state w/o telling him? Is this enough for termination of his rights? Husband of 9.5 years wants to adopt. I have no way of contacting bio. father. No court order for custody, visitation, support. What are my rights as custodial parent?

Re: rights of putative father

You have some hoops to jump through, but he basically has no rights. You just have to get a Court to say so. You need an Attorney to help you with this.
