Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

Spouse non-cooperative with visitation.

I obtained a divorced in North Carolina. Ex-spouse now lives in Oklahoma with our children. I now live in Texas. If I need to bring an action against her regarding visitation, do I have to record our divorce in Oklahoma first?

Re: Spouse non-cooperative with visitation.

You must register your Judgment [Decree] of Divorce under the Uniform Enforcement of Judgments Act, to enforce the provisions of the Decree in the state which now has jurisdiction of your children as that is where they now reside.
