Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

Can I sue my husband for emotional distress? I have been married for only six months. Before our wedding, we talked about selling his home and buying another. I have medical issues that I told him about before we got married and he was willing to accept them. At the end of our wedding (just he and I) I passed out and was taken to the hospital. They found nothing wrong. He did not want to come together in finances, insurance or anything else. I got sick after Thanksgiving and had to go to the hospital. He did not help me in any way while I was sick (not even to bring me water). Two weeks after I was in the hospital he told me he wanted a divorce and moved out. I am devasted. I am now seeing a therapist. I think he was going to leave me all along. Do I need to see a lawyer?

No, you cannot sue him for emotional distress. He can file a divorce. Oklahoma is a no fault divorce state.
