Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

Violation of Parental rights?

I am currently in the midst of getting of divorce. Please keep in mind that no papers have been filed. My spouse (wife)has informed me that she has told the children that they are moving in with her boyfriend after the divorce. She has already introduced them to his home and told them which bedroom they will have. She also had kissed him in front of the kids and has sported hickeys in front of the children. The children are 8,14 and 16. Keep in mind that no papers have been filed. I claim that my parental rights are being violated. She claims that they haven't. She now also requests that I allow her to take the 8 year old out of state with her and her boyfriend. Also keep in mind that she has already started to move her possessions over to his house and sleeps at his home every night leaving me to take care of the kids at our home. So, can anyone help me?

Re: Violation of Parental rights?

Her conduct is less than stellar, but not a violation of your parental rights. I suggest that you hire an attorney and seek custody or at least joint custody with a temporary order restricting cohabitation with a member of the opposite sex (outside of marriage) while the parent is exercising custody/visitation.
