Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

my wife wants me to put her name on the house we live in. i put $200,000 as a down payment from money i had saved. we got married the next week. if i put her name on the house do i lose 1/2 the 200,000 i initally put in if we divorce. i do understand that she is entitled to the marital equity. we live in oklahoma

I would go to a lawyer and have documents drawn up to show that the equity is coming from pre-marital assets. This would protect your interest in it.
