Legal Question in Medical Leave in Oklahoma
Family Medical leave
My daughter is pregnant and bi-polar and not living with me. I know the stresses she'll experience after delivery. She is married and her husband lives with her but cannot take time off work due to financial situation. Can I qualify for FML under the law to assist her after birth?

I don't believe the FMLA will extend to you as grandparent to care for a newborn. The law states leave may be taken to care for the employee's child.
