abandoned personal property
An ex friend of mine stored a jeep top and doors(no fee)in my back yard over a year ago. I'm selling my house and he will not pick them up. How can I sell them legaly?

If he has abandoned the goods then you can argue they're yours. You might send him a letter stating you understand he has abandoned the goods, the goods are on your property, give him a reasonable amount of time in which to pick them up if he intends on ever claiming the goods in the future, and notifying him of your intent to dispose of them in any way you choose should he not pick up the goods. Keep a copy of the letter. Ideally send it certified mail with return receipt.
