if a car place takes you to court and they have the vehicle what will

happen in court

If the car place is a service dealer who did work on your car, and has kept it until you pay, then the car place has a right to keep it until you pay. The concept is called a mechanics lien where they can hold the goods they worked on until you live up to your end of the agreement to pay them for their work.
