confiscated property not mine

I leased a building to do mechanical work, had to leave town for short time landlord locked gate due to another person not giving him my rent. He then lock gate and stole a lot of property belonging to people i was doing work for is this correct or is there something i can do about this

You could file a wrongful eviction lawsuit claiming that the landlord should have filed a forcible entry and detainer action rather than using self help to lock you out. If you live in northeast Oklahoma, you can contact our firm to discuss possible representation.
