Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma
Contempt Of Court
If I win a civil suit judgement and the person ordered to pay fails to do so, would this be a comtempt of court action? Or would I be required to file another Civil action?
Thank you

Re: Contempt Of Court
Thank you for your question. It would not be a contempt situtation unless the other party had signed an agreement, approved by the court, to pay your judgment. Collecting judgments can be difficult. You may need to go back to the court clerk and ask about an asset hearing, and the procedure. Good luck
