Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma
defamation
I work for a property management company. I live on the property I work for. iwitnessed some wrong doing by a tennant and reported it. it angered him and now he is filing bogus incident reports to my employer and causing trouble with other tennants implicating me .although i havent lost my job (yet) do i have grounds for a defamation suit?

Yes. If you can prove malicious intent and injury as a result of his or her behavior. You may also want to pursue retaliation.
