Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma

libel question

I am a college coach. The president and AD received a letter from a parent in regards to my attitude. The letter states that I am drunk all the time, sppend most of my time in the casinos and bars, that I am racist, and have no ability to coach. IT states that I have been seen throwing up on road trips and come to practice smelling like beer. All of the statements are bold face lies. Is there any legal action I can take?

I sounds like defamation of character with malicious and wrongful intent. If this information causes wrongful harm or hardships there are many appropriate legal actions to take. However, no legal action can be recommended based only on the limited information you submitted.
