Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma

We live in an apartment complex that is supposed to have security on the property from 10pm to 6am.My daughter's car caught on fire due to someone elses car being set on fire by arson. Can we sue the apartment complex for the damages to her car since there was no security onsite at the time of the arson? It happened around 4am.

You can but we recommended that you be prepared to provide proof of actual or gross negligence on the part of the security company. Additionally, there could be mitigating circumstances that wouldn't allow the company to react immediately or to be in two places at one time. Either way, you must fully consider all situations or circumstances surrounding this incident if you intend to be successful in seeking legal remedies.
