Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma
I live in an apt in Oklahoma. Neighbor upstairs has falsely accused me of entering her apt. when I knocked the door was already open, I looked inside but did not enter and asked the 6kids in there to please stop playing soccer as it was so noisy, I could not hear my tv. They did. 5days later, they were worse. So, called the landlord to take care of it. He went upstairs, at first they did not open the door thinking it was me. Landlord finally spoke with them. About 15 min later, the police came and adivsed she was making a formal complaint that I entered her apt 4 nights previous.
I told him that was NOT true.
The officer had me write a comment to give my side of the story.

If it's a fact that you did not physically enter the apartment you did the right thing by responding to her complaint by and through the police. However, in the future you must avoid any direct contact with the other tenant or her family and file any future complaints with the landlord and police or you can be sued for harassment.
